I was born in
In 2007 my dad was diagnosed with a terminal disease. To me, like most girls, my dad is like superman and you never expect something like this to happen. Having no control over this and the thought of loosing my dad struck me with an unbelievable fear. This was a wake up call for me to start on a healthier path and to enjoy the time that we share with family and friends.
I joined the local gym and after a few months of training I noticed the changes in my body an I started to seek every bit of advice I could regarding nutrition and fitness. A friend of mine introduced me to a training facility called PLEX, which is known for training professional athletes. After working out at PLEX for a few months my husband started to tell me that I should start competing in figure. Other people started asking if I was competing, and I realized that maybe this is something I could do. I decided to give it a try so I contacted Mr. Greg Stewart, Fitness Star owner, who came highly recomended as he has help many fitness and bodbuilding competitors acheive their personal goals. He took me through some grueling workouts and gave me a nutrition plan to get me prepared for the TX Shredder Classic in Austin Texas. I placed 3rd in Class A and 4th in Masters at my first show and I was hooked on the sport.
I am currently living in Houston with my husband and two beautiful girls. I am in training for my next show, and I look forward to what the future holds. I want to thank those who have and are helping me in my desires to be a figure champion/fitness model.
